Meet Our Practitioners

David B. Trinkle, M.D.
As a Board Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist Dr. Trinkle’s focus is to provide mental health services for the aging and elderly through a continuum of care model and utilizing medical technology for seniors. With numerous article publications in various medical and lay journals pertaining to the field of Geriatric Psychiatry and medical technology for seniors, he received funding for research on Mild Cognitive Impairment, Wearable Monitoring of Agitation in Nursing Home Dementia Patients, and Emotional Correlates of Falls in the Elderly.

Adam Mullet, M.D.
Originally from Roanoke, Dr. Mullet majored in religious studies at William & Mary and earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). During residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, he served as Chief Resident and developed a strong commitment to balancing the science of medication management with the art of human connection.
Dr. Mullet practices general adult psychiatry and is pleased to be affiliated with Magic City Psychatry.

S. Clay Trinkle, PMHNP-BC
Clay Trinkle, PMHNP-BC provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, burnout, and other mental health concerns. Using a holistic, patient-centered approach, he considers each individual’s mental and physical health, lifestyle, relationships, and goals, while utilizing the lowest effective medication doses when appropriate.
A Roanoke native with over 10 years of mental health experience, Clay has served in various nursing roles at Carilion Clinic and HCA, including leadership.

Ellen Weber, PMHNP-BC
Ellen Weber is a board-certified nurse practitioner who supports adolescents and adults through trauma-informed, evidence-based care, individualized treatment plans, medication management, and therapeutic support. Ellen creates a judgment-free environment where clients can feel comfortable showing up authentically and working toward meaningful progress.
Her experience as an outpatient PMHNP, inpatient psychiatric RN, and in community health gives her a well-rounded perspective on mental health care.
